You just learned that your history teacher Professor Jura dedicates her private life to keeping the evil supervillain Doctor Quarks from taking over the city of Lockholm. Now things are getting serious and she needs your help, before Quarks attacks her secret lab. That leaves you only 60 minutes to find that lab and figure out how to start the time machine.

View all game parts carefully, both front and back. Search for clues, riddles and puzzles and try to solve them. Once you find a code, enter the 4 keys into the Chrono Decoder. If the code is incorrect, you will hear an ‘error signal’ and your remaining time will be reduced by 1 minute. Then try again to find the correct code. If the code is correct, you will hear victory music and the timer will stop

Goal: Find a code consisting of 4 keys within 15 minutes.

Digital Chrono Decoder: Drag a key to the center to enlarge it. Then drag the key to 1 of the 4 openings in the Chrono Decoder to place the expanded key in that location in the Chrono Decoder. At any time, you can retrieve a key from the Chrono Decoder by dragging it back.  As soon as the 4 th key is placed, the code will be checked automatically. Hints: As soon as you hear the hint signal (‘beep-beep’), you’re allowed to read a hint. If the hint is no longer needed, then you’re on schedule.

Once you press START CHRONO DECODER you will see the 6 different keys, the Chrono Decoder with 4 key openings and a clock counting from 60 minutes to 0. Each key contains other information that matches the codes you will find during the game (find more information in the game rules). Drag a key to the center to enlarge it.  Then drag the key to 1 of the 4 openings in the Chrono Decoder to place the expanded key in that location in the Chrono Decoder. At any time, you can retrieve a key from the Chrono Decoder by dragging it back. But once the fourth key is placed in the Chrono Decoder, the code will be checked and you will hear a "good" or "wrong" signal. Welcome to Escape Room The Game by Identity Games. Feel the thrill and enjoy the mystery from a escape game in your own home! As in the case in many Escape Rooms across the world, you are “locked in” in this game and the object is to find the codes to “escape” within 60 minutes by solving puzzles in riddles.

Use your brain! Teamwork, good communication, ingenuity, creativity, logic and attention for detail are also very important.

You start by opening an envelope and reading the introduction of the mystery. Solving the mystery is self-explanatory. In addition, the envelope are different attributes necessary for finding the final parts of its code. And for every player there is a personal puzzle that could be launched immediately.

Each turn you explore one of the elements in the room on the board. Here you will find probably one or more hidden clues to carry along a portion of the commission. Are you up for the Challenge?

During the game, you will occaionally come across the text or logo ‘ER’. This is important information as it means that you must convert something using 1 of the decoder systems on the two sides.

About Escape Room The Game

There is a loud ‘poof’ and you see a sci-fi-like wormhole tunnel through the time machine window. You are supposed to meet Professor Jura in the past so you hope you will land in the right time. But what will come next?
Does Jura know where to go to stop Quarks? You only have time crystal
energy for another 60 minutes. So you better solve these questions quickly!

The Past

You land in Doctor Quarks’s secret base in the future. Piece of cake! Or is
it? Of course his guards spot you and lock you up right after your arrival.
The countdown for his invasion has already started: 60 minutes for you to break out of your futuristic prison, find the way to his giant Big Bot and disable it. Because if you don’t, Doctor Quarks will take control over Lockholm with his army of bots. You can do it!

The Future

Here you go again: house arrest! You are grounded until next Monday and cannot leave the house, just as your best friend Rick is about to throw an amazing party.

They will shortly be leaving for a funfair. You decide to sneak out of the window and climb down but your bedroom is in the attic with a tiny rooflight. So, you will need to get out through your little brother’s window.

You ask him not to tell on you and to help you get down without being seen through the living room window.
Laughing mischievously, he says: ”It can be done. I’ve got down through my bedroom window lots of times and know exactly how to escape without being seen through the window downstairs. But it will cost you! First, you’ll need to help me with my tasks and then I’ll show you the correct escape route.”
