View all game parts carefully, both front and back. Search for clues, riddles and puzzles and try to solve them. Once you find a code, enter the 4 keys into the Chrono Decoder. If the code is incorrect, you will hear an ‘error signal’ and your remaining time will be reduced by 1 minute. Then try again to find the correct code. If the code is correct, you will hear victory music and the timer will stop

Goal: Find a code consisting of 4 keys within 15 minutes.

Digital Chrono Decoder: Drag a key to the center to enlarge it. Then drag the key to 1 of the 4 openings in the Chrono Decoder to place the expanded key in that location in the Chrono Decoder. At any time, you can retrieve a key from the Chrono Decoder by dragging it back.  As soon as the 4 th key is placed, the code will be checked automatically. Hints: As soon as you hear the hint signal (‘beep-beep’), you’re allowed to read a hint. If the hint is no longer needed, then you’re on schedule.

Once you press START CHRONO DECODER you will see the 6 different keys, the Chrono Decoder with 4 key openings and a clock counting from 60 minutes to 0. Each key contains other information that matches the codes you will find during the game (find more information in the game rules). Drag a key to the center to enlarge it.  Then drag the key to 1 of the 4 openings in the Chrono Decoder to place the expanded key in that location in the Chrono Decoder. At any time, you can retrieve a key from the Chrono Decoder by dragging it back. But once the fourth key is placed in the Chrono Decoder, the code will be checked and you will hear a "good" or "wrong" signal. Welcome to Escape Room The Game by Identity Games. Feel the thrill and enjoy the mystery from a escape game in your own home! As in the case in many Escape Rooms across the world, you are “locked in” in this game and the object is to find the codes to “escape” within 60 minutes by solving puzzles in riddles.

Use your brain! Teamwork, good communication, ingenuity, creativity, logic and attention for detail are also very important.

You start by opening an envelope and reading the introduction of the mystery. Solving the mystery is self-explanatory. In addition, the envelope are different attributes necessary for finding the final parts of its code. And for every player there is a personal puzzle that could be launched immediately.

Each turn you explore one of the elements in the room on the board. Here you will find probably one or more hidden clues to carry along a portion of the commission. Are you up for the Challenge?

During the game, you will occaionally come across the text or logo ‘ER’. This is important information as it means that you must convert something using 1 of the decoder systems on the two sides.

About Escape Room The Game

Schaduwen dansen over je gezicht terwijl je door de donkere steeg loopt. Het is een koude nacht. Moe van je werk loop je over het industrieterrein richting huis.

Plotseling, uit het niets, bedekt een hand je mond. Je schreeuwt maar het geluid wordt gedempt door een doek die hard tegen je mond gedrukt wordt.

Terwijl je in paniek terugvecht voel je opeens iets hards tegen je achterhoofd slaan. Dan wordt alles zwart...

Je komt langzaam bij en merkt dat je vastgebonden op de achterbank van een auto ligt. Je hoort de man achter het stuur wat mompelen. Je kan nog net horen wat hij zegt voordat je opnieuw wegzakt.

Je schrikt weer wakker. Terwijl je opstaat van de harde stenen vloer hoor je een tikkend geluid en ruik je een doordringende scherpe geur. "Waar ben ik?" Als je ogen aan de duisternis zijn gewend zie je vlak voor je een vuilniszak in een vreemde vorm liggen. Nieuwsgierig draai je de zak om en dan schrik je je rot: er valt een arm uit... “Shit! Ik moet hier weg!”

Op de trap struikel je bijna over een kookwekker. Er staat wat op geschreven: “Geniet nog van je laatste minuten.” Het lijkt erop dat de kidnapper je nog vijftien minuten geeft voordat hij je afmaakt...

Vanuit het gekkenhuis laat je vriendin Diane weten dat de dokters een gruwelijke lobotomiebehandeling bij haar willen gaan uitvoeren. Hierna zal ze nooit meer dezelfde zijn... Jij besluit haar zo snel mogelijk te bevrijden uit het zwaar beveiligde gekkenhuis. Maar of je op tijd bent...?

Uit de praktijk is gebleken dat Duracell en oplaadbare batterijen ervoor zorgen dat de chrono decoder niet of slecht werkt. Ook het gebruik van een zwakke batterij, zorgt ervoor dat de decoder niet de juiste code aangeeft en de decoder terug kan tellen naar 55 minuten.
